Hal Blacker Probe Blocked by WE Blog
Our last post WE Blog Re-Opens Commenting (and Censorship?) attracted some interesting comments (along with the usual ton of attack jibes by one pro- What-Enlightenment blog supporter which we spared you the injustice of scrolling through screen loads of.)
The comment came from Vince The Prince who said on November 09, 2005 that What-Enlightenment blog had posted his comment and then deleted it. This tends to confirm our prediction that WE blog would be reinstating their harsh censorship policy upon WE commentators. In fact, it took just 7 days for the true nature of WE's faceless editors to be revealed after our editorial post on November 02, 2005.
We have always maintained that WE blog's claim to be interested in dialogue with Cohen and his followers is faux. Furthermore, we suspect that WE blog exists only to heap extreme negativity upon the Cohen community as a prelude to a potentially lucrative legal class act ($$$).
It is entirely relevant that Vince noted the legal language of Helene, WE blog's editor, who supported and "parsed" a poster who made little sense of an earlier poster who made even less sense. We know that Helene does not normally post "her" own comments. So it is entirely reasonable to ask why she would rescue the previous convoluted poster?
We suspect that Helene is actually Hal Blacker, the second listed WE editor.
However, Hal has never admitted this even though it costs him nothing to reveal it. Indeed, Hal stands to lose more by keeping quiet about it. The only reason why Hal would keep it hidden is to appear to have a additional supporter, instead of it being generally known that Hal Blacker is the sole-architect of WE blog.
So, what was so shocking about Vince's posts that WE blog, which claims to be "uncensored", had to censor? Well nothing really unless you are a WE editor and/or Hal Blacker with something to hide.
OK, over to Vince and let us see what got him booted off of WE blog:
The last three comments appear to come from three different posters but
look deeper - look beyond the veils...
"Caution Cult Members On The Track" - better argued then the other angry anonymous posters
"Anonymous said..."- argues like a real lawyer. Who else could keep up with all the twists and turns of Daniel and Brian's discussion? (well, ok, Daniel failed to return to the debate even though Brian was quite provocative).
Helene - Only Helene could follow - ' "anonymous" does a really great job parsing stillanego's presumptions'
Hmmm... me thinks are the last 3 posters the same person? Hal Blacker, this blogs editor is a lawyer. "Helene" seems to be Hal's posting name.
And more - me wonders why start posting about Adi Da anyway? No news on Cohen?
Trying to attract new readers?
Or was Hal fomerly with Adi Da and trying to kill two birds with one stone?

I was a strong and loyal supporter of What Enlightenment blog for many months.
I tried to steer them in the direction of understanding and love.
However, I was only attacked for that.
In the end I gave up and moved onto pastures green.
I am sure that there are many good things about the spirituality of Mr Cohen and his students. Unfortunately, What Enlightenment blog was not able to acknowledge this.

Sorry, but it seems kind of idiotic to be all obsessed about who is behind the What Enlightenment??! blog (they never tried to hide this anyway) when the people behind this blog are keeping their identities completely secret.
If you revealed who you were, then you might have something to say. Until then, going on about who is running What Enlightenment??! just makes you sound very hypocritical and stupid.

The question (which you craftily avoid) is whether Hal Blacker is posting as both , Hal Blacker and Helene. Isn't one posting id enough?
So "Anonymous" why are you so-ooo motivated to confuse the issue?
Actually, the interesting question is, who are the people behind this blog, and what is their affiliation and agenda?
Is the affiliation with Cohen? Is the agenda to defend Andrew Cohen/IEF/EnlightenNixt or whatever its next alias iteration may be called. Is it to divert from the truth about proven physical and financial abuse by Cohen of his students?
Who are you guys? Amy? Brad? Hmm....?
Have some guts and let us know.It will all come out sooner or later when someone directly involves leaves, as they all eventually do. So, why not have a little self-respect and come clean now?
What happened to Craig Hamilton? He seems to be missing from the rolls recently at What Is Enlightenment? magazine and elsewhere in Cohen-world. Any info would be appreciated.

I can tell you that this blog is not affiliated with Andrew Cohen.
If it was then I would not whole-heartedly support it.
I could no longer support Hal Blacker's because I did not feel that he was genuine in his request for dialogue. I had several of my own innocent posts cancelled.

When are you going to allow my comments on your anti-Cohen blog.
Still no one is coming forward with a real verifiable identity of who is behind this blog. Just more phony-named posts with charges as false as the names used for them.
Until the person or people who are behind this blog identify themselves with a real name then I don't think they are worth taking seriously. Just a lot of horse pucky here, if you ask me.
I enjoy reading WHAT Enlightenment Uncensored.
I find it more refreshing and balanced than "WHAT Enlightenment" blog.
The editors words testify though their integrity and this clearly bothers someone connected to "WHAT Enlightenment" blog.

I can see several reasons why Hal would post as both Hal and Helene: misdirection, plausable deniability, exaggerated support, cheer-leader syndrome and lastly "gelt" as in money, moolah, greens - lawyers love money $$$!
You don't think those calculated attacks on the Cohen estate were done out of love and charity - do you?

That's a great idea! A class action against Cohen is just what is needed! Can't wait to see that worm squirm in the witness seat. Too cool for words.
But it still doesn't answer the question why you or anyone else care whether posts are made under the name Helene. Hal never hid his connection with the What Enlightenment??! blog--he publicly proclaimed it, so what difference does it make if he posts under the name Helene sometimes. Maybe Helene is just the name used by which ever administrator is running the blog at the moment. Who cares?
But your idea about a class action against Cohen is a great one. Distribute the millions Cohen has in his Fox Hollow "estate" as you call it (or mansion) to those he has hurt and ripped off. Now, that would be justice. Great idea! Hope Hal gets on it.
BTW, no one needs to attack Cohen, calculatedly or not. He has already destroyed himself by his own betrayal of his original ideals. Still, the sooner he's sued the better in my book. Bring it on!

I'm sure most folks would agree that slapping the slap happy guru with a multi-milliion dollar suit--for assault, false imprisonment, extortion, whoknowswhatall--would be just the good karmic medicine needed here.

This is a really exciting development on this site--one I've been waiting for. It is great that we can finally discuss here how to get retribution against Cohen and other power abusers like him for their abuse. The kind of assaults, extortion of money and imprisioning of students that have been proven against Cohen must stop. Thank you for making this site available to discuss this.
I think we should all pool our spiritual and other resources and figure out how to put Cohen and his group under and get restitution for all his victims.

There has not been any discrimination against posters and their claimed gender differences.
It seems that one WE blog supporter is deceptively masquerading as both men, women and er...ahem... "undeclared".
This dishonest and sorry state of affairs is exactly the criticism which we make against the editorial board of WE blog, which appears to be two people, namely, Hal Blacker as himself and Hal Blacker as Helene. We cannot say that Hal is using any other fictitious sock-puppets but who knows?
The only registered poster is the curiously named "laffnowl" owner of the perverse "Hellbreaker" blog - a forerunner of Hal's WE blog when Hal was still a total closet poster.
Hellbreaker's claims about a "groundswell" aimed at stopping Cohen are wishful and misguided, almost as much as WE blog's faux posture of concern and reconciliation.
Shaolin and I are not the only ones to have exposed WE blog's scam as the posts on WE blog reveal. Almost no-one who has ever been associated with Andrew is posting there save for one or two daist philosophers.
Clearly, ex-Cohen community members are finding other sites more liberating.
I was a strong and loyal supporter of "What Enlightenment" blog. It has now lost all hope of reconciliation as there is no-one interested in it or the blog itself.
Now "What Enlightenment Uncensored" is the way forward.
